Pence Lake is in Langlade County Wisconsin. It is a 26 acre lake that is approximately 37' deep. Their are 8 cabins surrounding half of the lake and Langlade County owns the other half. The DNR periodically stocks the lake with trout and there is a public boat landing. You can paddler around the lake in 20 minutes.

The last two summers there has been a breeding pair of loons on the lake. It's been fun to watch the little one grow up. There is never a "bad" season to be here - their are cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in the winter. The Ice Age Trail is also in the area.

  Jack Lake

  The work goes on at the new ski shelter at Jack Lake. Check for updates at Antigo Bike & Ski Club

  Wolf River

  Pence Lake is 5 miles from the Wolf River. Because of the Rapids, the water is open all year long.

  Raptor Education Group, Inc. (REGI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of wild birds. Check out their FB Page.

  

• Langlade Co Historical Society

  LCHS preserves, advances, and disseminates knowledge in the history of Langlade County, WI.

  Menominee Powwow

  The Menominee Nation holds their Annual Oontest powwow the first weekend in August.

  Antigo Tator Trot

  The event is a fundraiser that benefits the high school cross country team and supports community organizations that promote running and wellness.
